Personal Summary

I am an Electrical/Electronics Engineering and Information Technology student with practical, hands-on experience delivering end-to-end hardware-software systems. I'm motivated by building real, working solutions - designing, prototyping and deploying embedded systems across PCB design, low-level programming, and electronics integration. I enjoy contributing to technical teams and working in environments that value clear execution, reliable designs, and measurable outcomes. Outside formal work, I extend my skills through 3D printing and rapid-prototyping projects, which strengthen my problem-solving ability and keep me engaged with emerging engineering tools and technologies.

Education

James Cook University

Cairns, QLD

Degrees: Bachelor of Electrical/Electronics Engineering (Honours), Bachelor of Information Technology

Duration: 2021 – 2026

Projects

Car Anti Theft Device

C++, Altium, Soldering, Raspberry Pi  |  August 2023 – November 2023

  • Collaborated in a small engineering team to design and deploy a hardware solution aimed at reducing car theft, contributing across mechanical, electrical, and software domains.
  • Led technical design discussions enabling the team to progress efficiently and deliver the final system on schedule.
  • Independently resolved integration challenges by implementing an embedded facial-recognition module using Python/OpenCV on a Raspberry Pi, learning unfamiliar tools and debugging complex issues to achieve reliable performance.
  • Wrote the low-level C++ control logic for the system’s GPIO outputs, driving separate signals for authorised and unauthorised detections and integrating the facial-recognition module with the hardware interface.
  • Delivered a fully functional prototype that met design requirements and operated consistently during testing, demonstrating strong problem-solving and end-to-end implementation ability.

Regulated Power Supply Design with Current Limiting

Analog Design  |  March 2025

  • Independently designed and built a regulated multi-stage linear power supply, following an iterative workflow where each stage was prototyped and refined before progressing to full-system integration.
  • Covered the entire process from concept, SPICE simulation, PCB layout, to final hardware testing.
  • Implemented a successful current limiting design, increasing safety and robustness of the supply.
  • Demonstrated strong analog design capability by delivering a fully functional, low-ripple supply that met specification, earning a High Distinction for quality, reliability, and completeness.
